TPM To Expand Coverage In Effort To Boost Traffic

Political site Talking Points Memo (TPM) is planning to extend its coverage into new verticals in an effort to increase its traffic beyond its core audience of political junkies.

TPM will extend its coverage into complimentary areas, including Foreign Politics, Technology and financial news over the coming months.

According to a report at PaidContent, “TPM doesn’t provided detailed figures of its ad sales, but [founder Matt] Marshall did say that July’s revenues came in a bit below the June number. That said, TPM’s booked sales for August already exceed the numbers for June.”

TPM ranks at 3,939 on Alexa and 5,606 on Compete.
