Citrus College Articulation Agreement

Students who obtain an AA-T or AS-T degree at a Community College in California receive a priority admission requirement if they apply to a local California state university appointed by Community College that graduates from its local admission area. Community school courses are considered equivalent to those of the university. This allows students to meet a university requirement by completing an identified equivalent course (directed course) at the community school. This equivalence, or articulation, can be carried out by course, for important needs and/or for general education needs. In some cases, courses are articulated (are identified) only as courses of choice. This means that, although the units are transferred, the course does not meet any of the requirements listed above. Citrus College has articulation agreements with a variety of universities. These include the campuses of the University of California (UC), the california State University (CSU) campus, private and non-state colleges and universities. Some of the information on the transfer services website is provided by the “Portable Document Format” (PDF) file type, including the university representative`s information listed below.

If you find that you are not able to access PDF files correctly on the transmission services website, please contact ctc@citruscollege.edu and you will receive an accessible alternative. Articulation is the process that connects two educational institutions to help students make a smooth transition from community school to university or university, without waiting or doubling course work. In the case of large-scale agreements, subdivision agreements (and some higher divisions) are indicated in each of the programs involved. In department arulation agreements, all established course joints are displayed within each department. 2018-2019 Semester courses for California`s top universities are published temporarily on this website. The articulation agreements before 2018-2019 will be published on ASSIST. This page is constantly updated until the new ASSIST authorizes the publication of the 2018-2019 agreements. Please note that these agreements may be amended. For this reason, students are advised to consult their community college or higher education science advisors before enrolling in courses at Community College.
